Our parking lot is connected to our church, and there's plenty of spaces. We also have handicapped parking spots. Best of all, we offer free valet parking!! Simply pull your vehicle under the covered portico andone of our friendly velets will park you car for you. This service is especially helpful for families with young children as well as persons who might otherwise have trouble walking through the parking lot. After worship, we will also bring your car to you. [Currently, our valet service has been suspended due to the coronavirus. When it is safer for people to have "strangers" in their car, we will reestablish this service.]
Quite simply, wear what you're most comfortable wearing. We have no expectations about how people should dress for worship. Jeans? Great! Coat and tie? No problem. Shorts? Certainly, as long as you're warm enough if it's chilli outside. Bottom line: we are way more interested in what's going on on the inside than we are about what's on the outside.
Our Covid-19 Updates page lists our current safety protocols.
When you arrive, you'll be met with a friendly greeter or two who will welcome you and offer you hand sanitizer. At that point, you're free to take a look around. There's a place to sit and talk. If you have children and Sunday school is is session, you're welcomed to head in the direction of the classrooms and check things out. We also have a nursery located right off the narthex (the gathering area outside of the sanctuary). Whenever you're ready, feel free to find a place in the sanctuary where you're most comfortable. If you have any questions, you can ask one of the ushers or greeters. If they don't know the answer to your question, they'll find someone who does! WELCOME!
The worship service begins at 9:30 a.m., and generally lasts between 60-70 minutes.
Currently, the style of our worship leans toward 'traditional.'Here's an overview of what you can expect.
- We sing a combination of hymns and more modern worship songs from a couple of different recent songbooks. Congregational singing is sometimes led by the organ and sometimes by the piano.
- We make light use of some of the more traditional liturgical elements such as a call to worship, a printed unison prayer, and from time to time, an affirmation of faith such as the Apostles' Creed.
- Music is provided by vocal choir each week and our handbell choirs play monthly.
- Pastor Drew typically preaches 15-20 minutes.
- No one is required to give a financial offering, but those who wish to do so may put it in one of our offering boxes located in the narthex either before or after the worship service.
Yes, but we're always looking for ways to grow in this aspect of our church life. Here's what we have:
- Year-round Nursery every Sunday morning.
- Sunday school for PreK through high school. These groups meet during the school year and during the worship service.
- Youth Group for middle school and high school students. This group meets on Sunday from 11:30am - 2pm. Lunch is always included!
- Kids Discovery Network (KDN) is our in-house 6-week summer camp for children between the ages of 7-12. It begins the end of June and is open to the public. For more information, please visit the KDN page.
